Why should I give to the Guardian Fund?
Gifts to the Guardian Gift Fund give the us the most flexibility to meet the school’s greatest and most immediate needs.
What kind of things will the Guardian Gift Fund support?
Donations provide the school with unrestricted funds to support priorities such as Catholic identity programming, campus enhancements, student programs and enrichment, high cost maintenance repairs, and professional development for faculty/staff.
As the Guardian Gift Fund grows, it can also be used to supplement the school’s annual operating budget, allowing for increased teacher and staff salaries while also keeping tuition at a manageable rate for families. A portion of the funds donated to the Guardian Gift Fund each year will be designated for support of the Education Trust Fund and collaborative campus projects/ministries.
We typically give at another time throughout the school year. Can we wait until then?
Of course, all we need from you now is a pledge. Gifts can be made towards it in installments or in a lump sum before June 30, 2023.
The Guardian Gift Fund will operate as an annual fund with several opportunities to give over the course of the year.
Why do we ask parents to make a donation in addition to paying tuition?
The realities of operating a special place like Saint Mary require multiple revenue streams, and we work diligently to keep tuition as affordable as possible. The Guardian Gift Fund provides additional resources to keep our school competitive with others in the region, to keep tuition down and to support church and school campus projects. Gifts of all amounts are appreciated and vital to providing a strong student experience. It is not about the amount you give, but rather the collective effort to support the school in this way.
