On a rare occasion, school was canceled due to snow. I went sleigh riding with Fr. Ed on a golf course. We rode double on a sled and crashed. My face was cut up from the event. While walking back to the clubhouse, many other sleigh riders Were staring at my face, and Fr. Ed‘s comment was, “you should see the other guy“ All the next day, school was open again. Fr. Ed took the moment and advantage to call me out in front of convocation to warn others, what can happen when school closes and there’s a snow day!

St Benedict's prepared me for life outside the Hive. So glad this place exists!
