Proctor Academy has been the central focus of our lives for more than three decades. The school has mentored us as educators and administrators, and its community has walked beside us at every stage—joining us, marrying us, hosting our baby showers, and now educating those same children once held in our arms. Our colleagues are our closest friends. The parents and grandparents of our students and advisees are dear to us and remain an enduring part of this community, even after their child has graduated. Our "Proctor Why" is self-evident. Our gratitude for this genuine community is endless.

Proctor matters to me because it intentionally exposes students to real learning and leadership opportunities—in the world, in the classroom, and within the community—that challenge them to grow in ways they simply wouldn’t experience at other schools.

Proctor Academy helped shape who I am by instilling a strong sense of self-reliance, curiosity, and leadership through its experiential learning and community culture.
