I enjoyed my time at Pine Point. 7th thru 9th grade. It fit well for me as a young person. Importantly - it is still a beautiful place in the fully functioning communities of S.E. Connecticut and South-Western RI..

My parents, Dr. Donald Kaplan and Mrs. Nancy Kaplan, sent my sisters and I through 27 years at Pine Point when there were just 9 grades. Had an enormous impact on our education both academically and fostered strong character development. My daughter, Natalie, spent 2 years at Pine Point, which helped develop her expertise in creative writing, inspired by David Smith. In May, she'll earn her Masters in Fine Arts at the University of Baltimore, considered to be one of the top schools in this discipline. Currently, she's part of the planned giving department at Maryland Public Television, part of the PBS network.

Giving options

Area of Greatest Need

Your unrestricted gift will be directed to where it’s needed most. By supporting the Area of Greatest Need, you are investing directly in the student experience, including all aspects of our program, faculty compensation, tuition assistance, and more. You are making a direct impact today.

Program

Our Center for Assessment and Learning (CAL) is a vital resource for all of our students, teachers, and parents. Our school psychologist, speech pathologist, and learning specialists provide the targeted assessment and instruction that maximizes every student’s potential. We are expanding CAL to meet growing enrollment needs and ensure every student builds the academic confidence necessary to navigate their future.

Campus

Through this campaign, we are modernizing our campus to serve as a dynamic tool for discovery. By investing in versatile outdoor and indoor spaces, we ensure Pine Point remains a leader in engaged, project-based learning while honoring our commitment to environmental stewardship and responsibility.

Resources

A strong financial foundation is what allows Pine Point to reach higher. While the Annual Fund sustains our daily excellence, a robust endowment anchors our future. This provides the durability to navigate the unforeseen while protecting our most vital assets: our people and our campus.
