What is the attire for Family Weekend?

A:

Please dress comfortably! Casual attire with layers is best, as the weather changes quickly in New England. You will spend some time in an outdoor tent that will be heated if the weather gets cold. Feel free to dress casually for the Parent Reception, although some parents choose to dress up if they are heading out to dinner afterward.

Who is invited to Family Weekend?

A:

All parents and guardians are invited to join us! Students are also encouraged to participate in many of the weekend activities with their families.

Q:

Do I need to register for Family Weekend?

A:

Yes! Please register in advance so we can plan appropriately for meals, activities, and other weekend events.

Q:

What happens if it rains?

A:

We will make adjustments to outdoor activities as needed. Any changes to the schedule or locations will be communicated to families.

Q:

Can I take my child out to dinner on Friday?

A:

Yes, students will have quiet hours in the dorm on Friday evening. They may sign out with their parent or guardian and return to the dormitory before 9 p.m.

Breakfast in Abra’s

Join us for breakfast in Abra’s dining hall (with overflow seating in The Common Room and Terrace) from 7:30 - 8:30 am. Note: You do not need to register your student.

Family Weekend Chapel

Complimentary

Join us from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, October 17 for our annual tradition of Family Weekend Chapel. Note: You do not need to register your student.
