Black and Gold Giving Challenge

Organizer

How do I give?
All gifts will run through this website where you will be able to make your donation via credit, PayPal, Venmo, direct debit, or Apple Pay. Alternatively, if you prefer to make your donation by check or in the next tax year, you can enter a pledge on the challenge website. Once you’ve given, leave and comment and share on social media to help spread the word!
What counts toward Cougar Fund giving? Have I already given this year?
Any gift made toward the Cougar Fund since July 1, 2024 counts toward your giving and your participation. Because we have moved the challenge up to October, that mostly includes any sponsorships made thus far this year. If you have any questions about your giving for the year, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Elizabeth Hackett.
Can I give again or multiple times to take advantage of the Black and Gold Giving Challenge incentives?
Of course. Maybe you’ve already contributed to the Cougar Fund this year but want to help us hit $100,000 to give every student the chance to ring the bell Thursday morning–go for it! Maybe you to double your donation and take advantage of the $378 for 378 reasons match being offered by making a specific $378 gift–go for it. Maybe you want to help us hit $200,000 so Mr. Parker has to dye his hair black and gold–go for it! While we hope this challenge will help us kick off the Cougar Fund with a bang, our goal is to show how The Country School community comes TOGETHER, so we would be thrilled to have you join us whenever and however you can!
I can’t give a lot. Does it even matter if I give?
Yes! Every gift matters and when we all come TOGETHER, those gifts really add up. The best part about the Giving Challenge and the challenge website is that you’ll be able to watch as your donations come in and the total amount raised grows because of your support.
How will you communicate with us during the challenge?
You can expect to receive a lot of communication over the course of the 1934 minutes of the challenge, particularly via email and text message because we want to make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to take advantage of various incentives, and we want to celebrate success throughout the day! You will also see signs and posters around school and can follow the progress of the challenge on social media and on the Black and Gold Giving Challenge website.
I’m excited! How can I help?
There are lots of ways you can help make our first Black and Gold Giving Challenge a success:
Give a gift in an amount that is appropriate for your family. Consider giving your total annual Cougar Fund donation from last year or even stretching a little higher.
Share the campaign page to your social media to help us spread the word and share our social media posts
Reach out and share the Black and Gold Giving Challenge website with friends and family who might be interested in giving a little to The Country School because they know how important it is to you and your children.
