“I’m donating because CAS gave my daughter her confidence back.
It helped her see that she is capable, powerful, and free to become
whoever she wants to be—without limits or labels.

Every day, I see our faculty and staff pour their time, talent, and care into creating an environment where students can thrive. I see our students step forward to give of themselves—leading clubs, playing on teams, serving on student council, performing in the musical, cheering in spirit squad—and supporting one another along the way. Year after year, I am inspired by the life-changing stories told by our students and their families, that emerge from our classrooms, stages, and playing fields. Giving to the Annual Fund is a commitment to the values, dreams, and possibilities that unite our community.

CAS changed Farley's life - he went from having low self esteem and struggling in school to getting into the high school and college of his choice. I can't imagine his trajectory without this school!

In a world where one in five people have dyslexia, there remains few places that adequately teach and address the needs of dyslexic students. Our "why" is to support Charles Armstrong in its mission, to help it continue to be a pioneer and leader in education for students with dyslexia - positively changing not only their lives, but the lives of their families and the broader community as well.

My son chose Armstrong to gain belonging and understanding. The transition wasn’t easy—after 8 years in his old school, he really missed his friends. Starting his first day at Armstrong, he has come home happy each day, has made so many new friends, and is enthusiastic about school! As parents, we couldn’t be happier about our decision to give our son the best chance to reach his full potential.

From day one they have made her feel a sense of belonging that she didn’t feel in her previous school. She wakes up every morning so excited to go to school which is truly amazing.

Effective remediation for dyslexic students is very resource-intensive. We can see how efficient Armstrong is at stretching their resources to help our kids. Giving is easy when you know every dollar is being well spent and can see the impact it has on the students.

Armstrong allowed my son to still be a kid while also doing all the work to make up for the education he missed. To not feel different or behind all the time is the gift that allows our students to feel safe, comfortable and confident enough to grow - by trying new things and taking risks.

We understand that Armstrong, as a nonprofit organization, cannot operate alone on tuition. We give to the annual fund to recognize how important the school has been not only to our son, but our entire family.
