What is a Leadership Gift?
Leadership gifts are significant contributions that have a particularly transformative impact on the school’s fundraising efforts. Leadership giving at BFS ranges from gifts of $5,000–$50,000+.
What are the ways I can give to the Fund?
Gifts can be made in the form of credit card, cash, check made payable to Brooklyn Friends School and sent to Brooklyn Friends School, 375 Pearl Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201.
Can I make gifts of stock?
Yes! To donate stock, please inform the Advancement Office of your intentions and use the following information to transfer:

Can I give to BFS from a foundation or DAF?
Yes! You may also donate to BFS from a foundation or a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). If you are directing your donation from a DAF, the school’s EIN is: 11-1630751.
Can I include Brooklyn Friends School in my estate plans?
The 1867 Society, our planned giving society, recognizes the generosity of Brooklyn Friends School alumni, families, grandfamilies and friends who have chosen to remember BFS in their estate plans through a will, trust or other planned gift. If you have already included Brooklyn Friends in your will or as part of another planned gift, we hope you will let us know so that we can recognize and thank you.
