Join us at a beautiful local farm & brewery to catch up with old friends!

We’ll meet up in front of Barton House to do a Fun Run with Dave Belcher! This will be about a 4k run to Pine Hill, a loop of trails there, and then back to campus.

Come see our Outdoor Classroom space at Pine Hill! Our Outdoor Education teacher, Kim Navarro, will also lead a lovely hike. Western MA hike in the autumn? An absolute must. Sturdy shoes and a water bottle are encouraged!

Lunch will be available under the tent between Barton and Bement houses. If you would like to join our 12:30 p.m. panel discussion, please bring your lunch into the Barn. If you do not plan on attending the panel, we have many picnic tables and adirondack chairs where you can relax and enjoy.

In this program, Former Head of School Peter Drake will join in conversation with a group of alumni as they share their personal and professional stories with a focus on the lessons learned, and values instilled from their time at Bement.

One hundred years is a long time. Each of us created our own history with Bement while on campus but there are some whose tenure encompassed a disproportionate amount of the school’s first century. Former Head of School Shelley Jackson will moderate a conversation with some of Bement’s longest serving and most impactful faculty, drawing a thorough line from Bement’s last several decades to this milestone moment and beyond.
