The Annual Ritchie Rumble

The Winchendon School is a tight-knit, nurturing boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12. We are proud to partner with The Jason Ritchie Hockey Scholarship Foundation in support of our annual showdown against the Boston Bruins Alumni! The Jason Ritchie Hockey Scholarship Foundation (RHF) was established by the Ritchie family in memory of Jason Ritchie, Winchendon Class of 2005, who was tragically killed in a car accident in 2009. Their mission is to provide resources and mentoring to youth who share in Jason’s drive and dedication. The Foundation also supports the Jason Ritchie ‘05 Hockey Scholarship Fund at The Winchendon School, a scholarship that benefits deserving hockey student-athletes.

Jason’s spirit lives on in The Jason Ritchie ‘05 Ice Arena on Winchendon’s 326 acre campus. From the school’s earliest days, a Winchendon education has been and remains deeply personalized and highly collaborative. Our students become graduates who are confident, adaptable, and self-directed learners. A multitude of athletic offerings and state-of-the-art facilities help to foster a robust and successful sports program that has sent hundreds of alumni to play NCAA and professional sports.
