What is Vis Give Day and why does it matter?
Vis Give Day is Visitation’s annual day of giving, bringing our community together to support the students, teachers, and programs that make the Vis experience special. Give Day helps build momentum around Visitation’s Annual Fund, while celebrating our school.
What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund consists of unrestricted, tax-deductible gifts that provide essential support for the school’s operating budget. Gifts to the Annual Fund represent an immediate, tangible investment in our school and our students’ daily lives, and are vital to sustaining the excellent education that Visitation School provides.
How can I be involved in Vis Give Day?
You can participate by making a gift, spreading the word, and encouraging others to give. Whether it’s sharing on social media, reaching out to classmates, or setting up a matching gift challenge, your involvement makes a difference.
How much should I contribute?
Visitation is grateful for the generosity of all of our donors. Every single gift, regardless of the amount, is valued.
Are there other ways to give besides using a credit card?
Yes! Our Give Day platform offers several convenient options:

- Give through your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

Is my gift tax deductible?
Visitation School is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides donors with tax benefits to the full extent of the law. Your gift qualifies for a tax deduction in accordance with IRS regulations, during the calendar year that you make your gift. After making a gift you will receive an email with information that can serve as a receipt for your files. Please consult your tax professional for more information.
As a reminder, Visitation’s fiscal year runs from from July 1- June 30.
