Music with Mr. Joe - 7 days ago
Music with Mr. Joe is one of the best parts of the week at VCES. Drums, singing, dancing, and a teacher who makes every kid feel like part of the band. The money raised during the Annual Giving Campaign helps to offset our yearly costs for the music program. Without fundraising, our music program isnāt possible!
Help us reach 100% family participation and keep the music going. Choose a gift thatās meaningful to you, make it monthly if you can, and ask your employer about matching to double your impact.

Rooted & Rising: Celebrating 16 Years of VCES Giving
For 16 years, Valley Charter Elementary School has been rooted in a commitment to knowing every student, supporting their growth, and helping them thrive. Our strong foundationāexceptional classroom instruction in core subjectsāanchors all that we do. From there, our students rise through experiences that make learning meaningful and memorable.
Thanks to the generosity of 16 years of VCES families, VCES offers so much more than the basics. Field trips let students step into the world and connect lessons to life. Music sparks creativity, while yoga helps them steady their minds and bodies. With teaching assistants in every grade and a full-time reading intervention teacher, every child receives more individualized support, ensuring they can grow both academically and personally.
What makes these programs possible isnāt just funding, itās the creativity of our staff paired with the generosity of our families. State dollars cover the essentials, but your gifts bring teachersā ideas to life, sustaining the programs that make VCES unique.
This year, through our 2026ā2027 Annual Giving Campaign, weāre inviting our community to raise $75,000 with 100% family participation. Every gift, large or small, keeps our students rooted in strong foundations and rising toward their full potential.
Together, we honor 16 years of VCES giving and invest in the future of our children. Thank you for helping our community remain Rooted & Rising.
Why I Give: Camille Gaudreau - 12 days ago
āI remember when our son first started, my husband and I realized that the staff seemed to know all the studentsā names, whether they were in TK, Kinder, all the way through fifth grade. We thought that was pretty neat. And three years later, with my daughter starting TK, the staff still is saying each childās name, making each one of them feel special and important.ā

The VCES Annual Giving campaign launches this week, and our goal is 100% family participation and $75,000 raised. Give at a level that feels meaningful for your family, consider a monthly gift, and check whether your employer matches donations. A match can double your gift!
