Broad liberal arts education with an excellent emphasis on English grammar thanks in part to Mother Agnes. Many wonderful lifelong friends.

Ursuline Academy gave me vision, personal strength to pursue my career interests, and a voice to achieve many goals. The friendships I still foster today give me joy and support.

My mom paid my tuition weekly and she became great friends w/ Sister Robert, who was the sophomore chemistry teacher as well as the school treasurer. My mom & Sister Robert’ had mutual affection for each other. They would exchange small gifts, poems, prayers & literature. My mom respected Sister Robert’s knowledge & wise advice. Sister Robert loved how devoted my mother was to me, to work so hard to pay the tuition. One day I got a very low score on a chemistry pop quiz. After class Sister Robert counseled me on studying harder to honor my mother’s commitment to my education. She dropped that quiz from my average w/ my commitment to up my game. ❤️
