Throughout this year, Serviam has been one of the most important parts of my life. It has taught me to help others, do good in the world, and to be a kind person. I think Serviam reflects that even if your actions don't benefit yourself, they can always benefit someone less fortunate than you.

Ursuline showed me how a caring group can make a difference to those in need. It matters.

Serviam to me means being responsible, helping others, especially those in need, and living with integrity, and showing up for my community. I have volunteered for the Farmer's Market in Dedham a lot, and I always leave feeling like I made a difference and actually helped people. I especially enjoy if they put me in charge of crafts with the younger kids. It is always fun to help them and reminds me of helping the younger kids at Dedham Community House. A lot of older girls helped me when I was younger, so I feel good when I can do that for them in return.
