Organizer
Update #6 - 3 years ago
As of May 15, 64 of the 77 senior famiies have donated – that’s 83%! Great job! Let’s keep going and surpass the record from the parent class of 2018. They had 88% participation! (We only need 5 more parents to make first-time donations). Make a donation by May 15th and be entered in to one last drawing for four front row seats and a reserved parking space. If you’ve donated already, you will be entered into this drawing automatically.

Did you know that our original school in Boston had a Tea Room? The tradition was carried to our school here in Dedham, where our cafeteria is still belovedly called the “Tea Room”!
More than ever, the Tea Room is a student gathering and study space, before and after school, in addition to fulfilling its purpose as our cafeteria. It’s vital that this key space truly works for our students. Seating arrangements in a variety of sizes and styles along with additional lighting and a warmer, more vibrant decor will better support students’ social interactions; make the space more inviting; and foster collaboration when used as a study space.
This year, the funds raised from parents of the Class of 2022 will be used toward completing this important initiative. Renovations to the Tea Room began over the summer, thanks to last year’s senior parent gift which covered interior design costs, paint, electrical, and construction improvements – but there’s more to do. With early support from this year’s senior families and a successful campaign, your daughters should be able to enjoy the fully-renovated space before they graduate!
Check out the images above for a glimpse into the project.
We encourage 100% participation from our senior families. No gift is too small and no gift is too large. Please know that donations to the Senior Parent Gift will count toward your Annual Fund support.

UPDATE 04/06/22 – This challenge was not met.
If we get to 85% participation from senior parents by Sunday, April 3, our daughters will receive two additional lunches off-campus in April. As of today (Tuesday evening), we need 15 more parents to make first-time donations to achieve this goal!
Gifts of any size count and if you haven’t yet donated your tuition deposit, you may donate it to this effort! Call Joe 781-493-7711 if you have questions!
Thanks to all who have made gifts (some have even made more than one donation)!
We can do it!

Update #1 - 4 years ago
It was great to see parents of the Class of 2022 at the reception last night, October 6th. We had the opportunity to hear from alumna Krista Easterly ‘03, an interior designer who has been helping Ursuline with the Tea Room renovation designs. A 3D walkthrough and a longer portion of her presentation have been posted on this site.
