Our annual Puma Fund benefits every student in our UPrep community and allows the school to respond to ever-changing needs in real time.
What is the Puma Fund?
The Puma Fund is UPrep’s annual giving that supports every student, every day. It provides essential resources for academics, arts, athletics, faculty development, financial aid, and more—enhancing the overall student experience beyond what tuition covers.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes! UPrep is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You’ll receive an email confirmation and tax receipt immediately after completing your gift. A formal acknowledgment letter will also be mailed to you within 2–3 weeks of your gift date.

Can I make a recurring gift?
Yes! Click the checkbox “I want to make this a recurring donation” option to set up a monthly or annual contribution. It’s a simple way to make a big impact over time—and helps us plan more sustainably. Recurring gifts are automatically charged on the first of every month, and you’ll receive an email confirmation with each payment.
Can I pledge now and pay later?
You sure can! Click “Pay by Pledge” (icon located before Donor-Advised Fund option) and fill out your information. You can also adjust your payment option using the dropdown menu at the end of the form. Our team will follow up with gentle reminders throughout the year to help you fulfill your commitment by June 30, 2026.
Can I dedicate my gift in honor or memory of someone?
Yes. Once you select your gift type, you’ll have the option to dedicate it and include the honoree’s name.
Can I designate my gift to a specific area?
No. Puma Fund gifts are unrestricted and support all areas of the UPrep experience.
Will my gift amount be made public?
No, we do not publish individual gift amounts. Donors are recognized by giving level (e.g., Friends Circle, Supporters Circle, Leadership Circle) in our annual Impact Report at the end of each school year. If you prefer to remain anonymous, simply indicate that on the giving form.
Can my employer match my gift?
Yes! Many companies match employee donations. Use the built-in employer search tool on the giving form, or reach out to your HR department to see if your company participates.
What payment methods are accepted?
The giving form accepts all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH bank transfers, Paypal, Venmo, and Donor-Advised Fund. For gifts by check or stock, please visit our Ways to Give page on our website.
Venmo: The Venmo option will be shown on select mobile devices with the Venmo app installed and when viewing the form on a valid browser (Safari on iOS, or Chrome on Android).
