As I reflect on my journey, my heart swells with gratitude for the extraordinary man who shaped so many lives. From those formative days when you were my high school head coach, pushing me beyond what I thought possible on the field, to your guidance as Athletic Director and mentor who taught me leadership isn't about titles but about lifting others up—your impact has been profound and enduring.
Seventeen years working alongside you in our athletic department has been the privilege of a lifetime. You've been more than a colleague; you've been a compass, showing me how to build programs with integrity, develop young athletes with care, and lead with the quiet strength that inspires loyalty and excellence. Every practice planned, every game won or lost, every student-athlete mentored—it's all been richer because of your wisdom and example.
Thank you, Coach, from the bottom of my heart, for this opportunity and for being the gold standard of what a coach, leader, and mentor should be. I'm forever better for having you in my corner.

Dan Healy told marauder nation they did not need a fan bus to the state championship. Coach Hansen got marauder nation the bus no questions asked. I recall him saying at a later date that “Marauder Nation was his favorite problem.” Thank you for all you have done for PREP.

You’ve been someone I’ve looked up to for as long as I can remember.
