What is Founders Day?
Founders Day, the annual online giving day at Saint Peter’s Prep celebrates our school’s history, heritage, and the vision of its founders. It’s a day when the Prep community—alumni, parents, faculty/staff, coaches and friends—come together to honor the values and traditions that have shaped the school. This competitive, engaging event will rally the Prep community to support the General Scholarship Fund, helping to ensure that future generations of students can benefit from the same transformative education that has been at the core of Prep since its founding.
When does Founders Day begin?
This year we will be celebrating Founders Day on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. However, we will be accepting donations prior to this date, providing an extended opportunity for all to contribute to the continued success of the Prep students.
Who can participate?
We invite everyone to participate and support Prep! Alumni, current parents, past parents, friends, coaches and faculty/staff are all encouraged to join us in this special occasion. Your involvement makes a meaningful difference!
I want to challenge my class, how do I create one?
Donor challenges and matching gifts are a wonderful way to help us reach our goals. They don’t have to be grand or overly ambitious to be effective, either.
Here are some examples you could consider: Challenge your classmates! Choose the amount of your gift and let your classmates know that when a certain number of classmates give it will unlock your gift. Offer a matching gift! Planning to donate $1,000? You can leverage your enthusiasm to inspire others by offering to donate $1 for every donor up to a certain number of supporters.

What is your donation supporting at Prep?
You are supporting the General Scholarship Fund, ensuring generations of students receive a Prep education rooted in the Jesuit tradition of forming men for others.

If I make a gift by check, will it be counted for Founders Day?
Yes! If your gift arrives on or before Founders Day, we will count it in our active totals. If it arrives soon after Founders Day, it will be counted in our final results.
Can I make a gift by stock?
Yes. Please follow the instructions below in order to complete any gifts of stock or marketable securities. Please direct your broker to contact Prep’s broker to execute the transfer.
