Organizer

How does The Herald Fund annual appeal help Saint John School?
This annual appeal provides essential support for operating costs to fund tuition assistance, spiritual enrichment opportunities, classroom materials and equipment, educational programming, technology, and faculty and staff development. Participation in this appeal indicates your support of our mission and the students of Saint John School.
Are donations to the Herald Fund tax deductible?
In most cases the full value of your gift is tax-deductible. If you choose to purchase a good or service (event tickets, auction items, raffle tickets, or some other item of value) your gift may not be tax deductible. The information on this website is not intended as legal or tax advice. For such advice, please contact your attorney or tax advisor.
Why the Emphasis on Double Day
We have a number of supporters who have issued challenges to our Saint John School supporters. There are a number of ways to enhance your gift..
What are matching gifts?
Matching gift programs are offered through many corporations. Please check with your Human Resources Department to see if your company has a Matching Gifts Program. We’ll help with the paperwork if needed! Donors will receive credit for matching donations, for purposes of giving levels and reports.
Can I include Saint John School in my Estate Plans?
We invite you to join the Sister Visitation Society (Sister Visitation was the first Principal of Saint John School) by making a commitment to support Saint John School through a gift in your will or other planned gift. Many individuals remember their favorite charities in their estate. We invite you to add Saint John School to that list of your favorite charities.
What have recent gifts to the Herald Fund helped accomplish?
Recent upgrades to the elementary playground, security upgrades to the building, addition of more elementary athletic options, elementary gym equipment, as well as the addition of the Student Center have all been funded by the Herald Fund.
Future plans include paving the rear parking lot, expanding curriculum options, and expanding retreat options.
