Shore Giving Day 2026
For 24 hours, Shore’s Giving Day brings our entire community — alumni, families, grandparents, employees, and friends — together to power the good happening every day at Shore.

What does my Giving Day gift support?
Your gift on Giving Day goes directly to The Shore Fund. A gift to The Shore Fund is the most tangible and personal way to drive Shore’s mission forward. In the 2024-2025 school year, The Shore Fund covered approximately 5% of the school’s operating expenses.
The Shore Fund enables a level of ambition and creativity that would not be possible through tuition alone. You can direct your gift to one or more of the following impact areas: Arts, Athletics, Equity & Inclusion, Faculty & Staff, Technology, Tuition & Financial Assistance, or the Area of Greatest Need.
How can I make a gift?
Make your gift online via credit or debit card, PayPal, Venmo, GooglePay, or ApplePay. To donate through the mail, donor-advised fund, stock, or securities, visit our Ways to Give page. Be sure to let our team know at [email protected] or 978-927-1700 ext. 219 so we can count your support!
Will my name and donation amount be visible on the campaign page?
Your name will appear on the campaign page. No dollar amount will be listed with your name. You can also opt to give anonymously.
I just made my gift. How else can I help make Giving Day a success?
Use the sharing icons at the bottom of the Shore Giving Day campaign page and encourage your family and friends to join in with their support. It only takes a minute and can have a profound impact.
When does Shore's Giving Day begin?
Shore’s Giving Day officially takes place for 24 hours on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. All gifts received between Monday, April 27 and Friday, May 15 will be counted toward our donor count.
Who can participate in Shore's Giving Day
Everyone! All alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty and staff or friends of Shore can participate in Giving Day.
I want to challenge my class, how do I create one?
Donor challenges and matching gifts are a wonderful way to help us reach our goals. Challenges of any size have a huge impact!
Here are some examples you could consider:
- Challenge your classmates! Choose the amount of your gift and let your classmates know that when a certain number of classmates give it will unlock your gift! For example: When 10 alumni from my graduating class make a gift, I will donate $100.
- Offer a matching gift! Planning to donate $1,000 (or even $50)? You can inspire others by offering to donate $1 for every dollar up to a certain number of supporters. For example: I will donate $500 if $500 is raised in the next hour.
- Encourage Top Spot on Leaderboard! Target alumni in a specific class or parents in your child’s class to participate. For example: I will give $100 if 10 more donors from the Class of 2005 give.
Visit the “Challenges” tab to walk through the different ways you can inspire others to follow your lead. Questions? Contact Kara Waters, Director of Annual Giving, at 978-927-1700 ext 219 or [email protected].
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! As with any charitable donation to Shore Country Day School, your gift is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Please be sure to check your email for your tax receipt and consult your tax advisor with any specific questions.
