About
Shore Country Day School’s endowment strengthens the school by providing a sustainable source of funding to help meet our mission now and in the future. When you make a gift to the endowment, your principal gift is never spent and is instead invested, enabling your gift to generate income in perpetuity. Shore’s endowment helps ensure that future generations of Shore students and teachers will have the resources they need.
Donors have created restricted endowment funds at Shore to support priorities including: professional development; tuition relief; technology; citizenship; faculty; academics; athletics; and creative and performing arts. Unrestricted endowed gifts support Shore’s operating budget, which pays for teacher salaries, financial aid, academics, arts, athletics, technology, facilities, and more. These permanent funds are critical to sustaining our values and providing critical fiscal resources for the future.
Your endowed gift can:
- Ensure fiscal stability and regular funding levels for programs and operations despite inevitable cycles in the economy.
- Sustain critical programs, including financial aid and faculty support.
- Give Shore the flexibility and freedom to seize opportunities and pursue new directions.
- Create a legacy that honors a loved one and offers prestige and recognition to both benefactors and beneficiaries.
