Seabury Pāʻina

An Evening of Community & Giving

Update #1 - 14 hours ago

Aloha Seabury Hall ʻOhana,

What a beautiful evening we shared at the Seabury Pāʻina last Saturday! Gathering around the Reflection Pond, we were blessed with a little Upcountry rain, the uplifting music of Brother Noland, and, most importantly, the aloha of the Seabury community.

Thanks to the community’s generosity, from sponsors and individual ticket holders to Raise the Paddle donors, this year’s Seabury Pāʻina raised $247,000 in support of our Annual Fund and Innovation and Technology. You can click to view the Innovation and Technology video here. If you’re inspired, we invite you to support our students by contributing to the Pāʻina giving page, which is still open.

Mahalo to our event chair Zadoc Brown Jr., whose leadership has shaped this event and Seabury Hall over the past 40 years. We also want to extend our mahalo to the staff and volunteers who made this event a huge success.

We look forward to many more gatherings full of community and aloha.

With much mahalo,

Seabury Hall

About

We invite you to gather at Seabury Hall’s iconic Reflection Pond, with the historic Cooper House as its backdrop. Under the glow of Maui’s upcountry evening, this intimate night will bring our community together in the spirit of Laulima—“many hands working together”—to celebrate and support Seabury Hall.

Guests will enjoy a buffet of island flavors prepared by Seabury’s own Chef David, followed by an unforgettable dinner-show with Brother Noland. Through music and talk story inspired by his book The Hawaiian Survival Handbook, Brother Noland will share reflections on the art of being aware—how we connect past to present, tradition to innovation, and people to place. His message resonates deeply with Seabury’s vision as we embrace technology to enhance learning, preparing our students to navigate the future while grounded in the wisdom of Hawaiʻi’s heritage.

As the evening flows from song to story, from paddle raise to shared laughter, we will stand together - students, families, alumni, and friends - strengthening the foundation of Seabury Hall for today, tomorrow, and generations to come.
