Homecoming - 2025 - Saint Joseph's College of Maine

Join us for the inaugural Friday Night Homecoming Kickoff, a free all-ages celebration to start Homecoming Weekend in style! Enjoy a crisp fall evening in Maine with lively music from a DJ, plenty of dancing, tasty food from local food trucks, and a festive atmosphere filled with Monk spirit and community. A cash bar will be available for guests 21+, and while no outside beverages are permitted, there will be plenty to enjoy as you reconnect with fellow Monks, families, and friends of Saint Joe’s.

Come to the Lower Lounge of the Alfond Center on Saturday morning of Homecoming and say hello to fellow Online Students and Alumni. This campus belongs to ALL alumni and we want you to celebrate Homecoming as much as anyone.

New this year! Begin your Monkstoberfest experience an hour early with an exclusive pre-event gathering at the Stone Barn hosted by President Cassidy. Enjoy early access to one of our most popular events with seasonal bites, extra drink tickets, and the opportunity to connect more personally with the President and fellow VIP guests. As an added perk, guests will receive convenient VIP parking right at the Stone Barn.

Pull on your SJC gear, your coziest flannel, or go all-in with lederhosen or a dirndl — we won’t judge! Enjoy hearty seasonal food, local drinks, and plenty of laughter as you reconnect, relax, and make new memories together. This signature Homecoming tradition remains the heart of the weekend, and this year brings a few new touches, including fun t-shirts and additional mugs for purchase. However you choose to celebrate, Monkstoberfest is the place to be! (and yes, we asked the band to turn down the volume a bit this year :)

Want extra beverages during Monkstoberfest? For $5, you will receive an extra drink ticket, redeemable for a beer, wine, or hard seltzer. $5 per ticket, 1 ticket per beverage.
