$100k Giving Day Challenge
Coleman “Coley” Gorham, a longtime friend of the College and 2020 Honorary degree recipient of a Doctorate of Public Service, is challenging the College community to reach 500 Giving Day donors. Should we reach our goal, he will make a generous $100,000 challenge gift. We need all members of our Monks community to make a gift of any size to help us succeed!
First Time-Givers
When 100 donors make their first gift to any fund, Board of Trustee member Bob Zilg ‘76 will give $15,000 to further the impact of Giving Day.
Annual Fund Challenge
When a 150 donors make a gift of any size to the Annual Fund, Board Member Jennifer Fitzpatrick ‘67 will contribute an additional $6,000 to support the students of SJC.
Alumni Challenge
An Anonymous donor will give $5,000 for every 50 alum that makes a gift towards Giving Day, up to $20,000.

Matching Faculty & Staff Giving Challenge
Elizabeth Schran will make a $5 gift for every Faculty & Staff donor who makes their first gift or increases their previous gift.
Faculty & Staff Challenge
Past Board Member Matt Ginnetty ‘78 and an Anonymous Donor are challenging 50 Faculty and Staff members to give a gift of any size to any fund. When we reach the goal, they will make a generous $5,000 challenge gift to the Annual Fund.
SJC Alumni Association Challenge
Power-hour Challenge! The SJC Alumni Board will make a $1,000 gift if 25 alums make a gift between noon and 1 pm today!
Monks Athletic Challenge
A Monks fan will give $3,000 to the Athletics Department if 75 donors make a gift of any size to Athletics starting at 4pm. Go Monks!
