Q:

Where do I go when I arrive to campus? When should I check in?

A:

Registration will be held in the Farrell Field House Lobby. Enter campus on Field House Lane and look for the entrance under the big white tent and signs to guide you there from the parking lot.

Friday Arrivals: Can check-in at the registration table in the Farrell Field House Lobby between 3:00-9:00 PM. Dorm check in will not be available prior to 3:00 PM.

Saturday Arrivals: Can check in at the registration table in the Farrell Field House Lobby between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Q:

Where should I park?

A:

Parking is available at the Farrell Field House and outside of Maxwell Savage Hall. Limited parking is available by each dormitory; please be sensitive to the parking needs of our dorm faculty who live there.

Q:

I'm staying in a dorm, what do I need to know?

A:

When you arrive on campus, please check in at the registration table in the Farrell Field House Lobby. If you reserved on-campus housing, you will receive a “housing slip” within your arrival envelope that tells you the dormitory name and room number.

  • Each dorm room contains two twin beds.
  • Items provided in the dorms include: towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows.
  • Please bring your own towel for swimming.

Check Out: We ask that all alumni vacate their dorm rooms by 9:00 AM on Sunday morning. We understand this is early, but please respect our Housekeeping staff that must flip all of our dormitory rooms for the arrival of our summer guests Sunday afternoon.

Children 10 & under are expected to room with their parents. Please bring sleeping bags, pack & plays, etc. If your child is 11+ and would like their own bed, we can arrange for them to have a separate room in the same dormitory.

Note: NO pets are allowed in dormitories.

Q:

What should I wear?

A:

There’s always a spectrum of dress, whatever your personal preference, we just want you to be comfortable! Daytime activities tend to be more casual, as some activities will have you up and moving. For the cocktail hours and Friday and Saturday evening dinners dress ranges from casual to business casual. Be sure to check the weather forecast in advance.

Q:

Will my cell phone work in Andover?

A:

There is US Cellular and Verizon service available on campus. Most other providers (Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) do not have service available in this area. We will have a guest WiFi network setup, and you should be able to access that without a password.

Q:

Can you tell me more about the Little Hornets Babysitting Program?

A:

We’re excited you’re sharing Proctor with your family! Children are welcome at all of the meals and activities. Group babysitting services will be available Friday (5:30-9 PM) and Saturday (5-10 PM) evenings. The babysitting program is designed for children 2 and up. After a child is “picked up” from the program, they are no longer under the group supervision.

Due to limited staffing, the babysitters cannot hold onto a baby monitor or check in on a child in a dorm room after they have left the group. We appreciate your understanding!

Preregistration is required. Questions? Contact Debbie Krebs (603) 735-6721 or [email protected].

Q:

I'm playing in the golf outing, where should I meet?

A:

If you registered for the Friday Morning Golf Outing, please meet Director of Development Keith Barrett ’80 at Tucker’s, New London at 9:45 AM. The group will proceed to Lake Sunapee Country Club for 11:00 AM tee times.

We will do our best to create foursomes with classmates from the same era. Preregistration is required.

Q:

What is the Proctor Academy Alumni Service Award?

A:

The Proctor Academy Alumni Service Award is awarded annually to a Proctor Alum who has continued to exemplify the spirit of Proctor (Live to Learn, Learn to Live) by excelling in their professional field or personal life.

Q:

I have a question, but it's not listed here. Who do I contact?

A:

We’re happy to help! Please contact Events Manager Debbie Krebs at (603) 735-6721 or [email protected].
