What is the dress code?
The event is cocktail attire with black tie optional.
What can I expect during the evening?
The evening will feature an open bar from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres served during this time. The bar will close from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. during the program. At 9:00 p.m., the after-party begins, featuring a cash bar, hot dogs, snacks, and live music by The Chozen Few. The event wraps up at 10:30 p.m.
Who can attend the Legacy Gala?
Legacy Gala is open to Cathedral Prep & Villa Maria Academy alumni, parents, donors, faculty/staff members, and supporters.
Can I make a donation if I can't attend the event?
Yes! There are two ways in which you can support Legacy Gala:
- Become a Tuition Angel by clicking “Give now” to the right of your screen under the Tuition Angel section.
- Select “Give Now” to the right of your screen under the giving section.
- All gifts are crucial to our success of Legacy Gala and very much appreciated!
Will there be a silent or live auction?
There will be no live auction during the event. Legacy Gala will only include a silent auction through our mobile bidding platform; https://boostmyschool.com/prep-villa-legacy-gala-auction-2026/support
Am I able to participate in the silent auction if I can't attend in person?
Yes! The silent auction will be available through mobile bidding, allowing you to participate whether or not you can attend the event in person.
