A memorable experience for me involves passing through the scene shop, then through a small hallway, and then up some dark heavy wooded stairs to arrive at the very spacious high-ceilinged dance studio (which is now a dining room) to feel a bit of refuge and inspiration, a place that was set apart from the rest of the school and in a sense the outside world.

In honor of Martha Haakmat

Martha followed me as Diversity Coordinator, it became a full-time paid director position, and Packer just keeps getting better. I learned from the kids, especially my Kindergarten kiddos!

Reflecting on my time at Packer, I am so thankful to our special school for the foundational education and the lifelong friendships and connections. I would like to thank all those in the Alumni Association and larger Packer Community who have worked so hard to organize this event ~ Looking forward to Reunion Weekend!

In memory of Linda Gold

Linda taught both of my children and, as a former faculty member, I was fortunate enough to benefit from her genius in Tall Tuesday classes. She was a treasure.

All of my memories are wonderful and special, from the maypole dance in the garden to the basketball games in the gym and events in the chapel. It was a great part of my life!!
