About
As we celebrate 75 years of excellence at Owensboro Catholic High School, we invite you to invest in the long-term sustainability of our entire OCS K-12 school system. Rather than focusing on isolated repairs, this fund supports strategic improvements that protect our students, strengthen our learning environments, and ensure that Owensboro Catholic Schools remain vibrant, secure, and forward-looking for future generations.
Key Sustainability Priorities
K–3 Campus: Safe, Modern Learning Spaces
Our aging mobile classroom units have exceeded their lifespan and no longer provide the quality environment our youngest students and their teachers deserve. Replacing these structures and planning for a permanent long-term solution will ensure safe, welcoming spaces that reflect the excellence of our mission. Additionally, aging classroom technology, particularly student iPads, must be refreshed to maintain effective, modern instruction.
4–6 Campus: Enhanced Campus Security
Protecting students and staff remains vital. Priorities include upgrading key entry points, assessing and replacing outdated doors and hardware, and redesigning the front office layout to improve visibility and visitor monitoring, creating a safer, more secure campus experience.
Owensboro Catholic Middle School: Critical Infrastructure
A full roof replacement is urgently needed to protect the building and avoid costly long-term damage. This essential project will safeguard classrooms, technology, and daily operations while preserving the integrity of the facility for years to come.
Owensboro Catholic High School: Energy Efficiency & Campus Improvements
Replacing aging windows will improve energy efficiency, reduce utility costs, and enhance comfort for students and faculty. Additional campus beautification efforts will further elevate the learning environment and campus pride.
