Hickory Hall Polo Club
For more than 20 years, Hickory Hall Polo Club has provided a unique, family-focused social and sporting venue while raising money and awareness for local organizations. We’re excited and grateful that The Orchard School has been chosen to close out the 2025 season!
Pack your picnic baskets and coolers, grab your chairs and tailgate games, and join us for this family-friendly event. Experience the exciting sport of polo while enjoying time with our community and supporting Orchard’s students and teachers.
Event Details:
- Gates open at 5 p.m. for tailgating and family fun
- Match begins at 6 p.m. and ends around 9 p.m.
- Bring blankets, camp chairs, and refreshments
- No grills allowed
- Outside food and beverages (including alcoholic) are welcome
- Concessions onsite

Stick Pony Races Following the Match
Wine/Bourbon Pull
Please consider supporting our event by donating bottles of wine valued at $20 or more or bottles of bourbon valued at $40 or more. You may bring them to the Polo at Sunset table at Back to School Bash or drop them off at the front desk anytime during regular building hours 8:00 AM - 6:00PM Monday through Friday beginning August 12th.

We’re excited to announce that Stick Ponies are officially available for purchase at this year’s Polo Event! Each pony is yours to keep and comes with a chance to race in our Stick Pony Race after the match.
Want to make yours extra special? Add a colorful ribbon personalized with your name or your pony’s name for a fun keepsake.
Don’t miss out—grab your pony early and get ready to ride!
