Party on the Santa Monica Pier
Join us for the culmination celebration of New Roads School’s 30th Anniversary! This Celebration at the Santa Monica Pier will include unlimited rides, games, delicious food, 30th anniversary keepsakes, and lots of fun! This event is private to the New Roads community and invited guests. The entire Pacific Park will be closed to the public during the event. Please note that this is not a drop-off event. All minors must be supervised by an adult.
When and where is the event?
Party at the Pier will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:00–9:00 PM at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier (380 Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica, CA 90401). The park will be open exclusively to the New Roads community during the event.
Who is invited?
Everyone in the New Roads community — students, families, alumni, alumni families, faculty, staff, grandparents, and friends — are welcome for our celebration of 30 years!
We also encourage you to invite friends, extended family, or community members who might enjoy experiencing this event.
What does my wristband include?
Purchased wristband includes:
- Entry to Pacific Park
- Unlimited rides on all attractions
- A $15 game card for arcade games
- A night of music, community, and fun on the Pier!
Please note: Complimentary wristbands for staff, faculty, and children under 3 only include entry and unlimited rides, but do not include a game card.
Do adults need wristbands too?
Yes. All attendees, including adults and non-riders, need a wristband to enter Pacific Park for this private New Roads event.
Will food be provided
Food will be available for purchase only.
Is this a drop-off event?
No. Party on the Pier is not a drop-off event. All minors must be supervised by an adult throughout the evening.
Where and when do we pick up wristbands?
Wristband pickup details will be shared with registered guests before the event. All guests must register in advance to receive a wristband.
Can I purchase wristbands at the event?
Yes, day-of wristbands will be available for $100, but advance registration is strongly encouraged to help us plan and ensure a smooth check-in process.
What are Teacher Adventures?
Teacher Adventures are special opportunity drawing experiences where students can ride or play games with a New Roads teacher during Party on the Pier. Each Teacher Adventure will have one winner, and families can purchase entries for the teacher experience that their student would be most excited to win. Winners will be shared the week of the event and there will be a meeting spot for the teacher and the winner at the pier.
