The Head of School’s Reception: 4:00-6:00 pm
Kick off Alumni Weekend by coming home to MMI! Join Head of School Mrs. Theresa Long for a complimentary Wine & Cheese Reception in The Joseph A. Turri ’45 Library and Learning Center. Catch up with classmates, reconnect with faculty, and enjoy an afternoon filled with familiar faces, great conversations, and plenty of MMI memories. All alumni and their guests are welcome, whether you’re celebrating a reunion year or simply looking for an excuse to return to campus.
The Class of 1976 50th Reunion
Fifty years deserves a celebration! Members of the Class of 1976 are making plans for a get-together and are looking for classmates who would like to help organize the festivities. If you’re interested in joining the planning committee, please contact Director of Advancement Kim McNulty at [email protected].

The Class of 2021 5th Reunion
Five years already? Meet up with your classmates for an informal evening at King’s Restaurant, 49 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top, beginning at 7:00 pm. Grab a drink, enjoy a bite to eat, and catch up with friends as you celebrate your first milestone reunion.

The Classes of 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, and 2011
Is your class ready for a reunion? We encourage members of the Classes of 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, and 2011 to take the lead in organizing a gathering for Alumni Weekend. Start the evening by reconnecting with classmates at the Head of School’s Reception on campus, then continue the celebration with a casual get together, dinner, or another event of your choosing. The Advancement Office is happy to assist with logistics, class lists, and location coordination, but the reunion itself is best led by classmates who know what will make the event most meaningful! If you’d like to help organize your class gathering, contact Director of Advancement Kim McNulty at [email protected].

Mix & Mingle in Old Main: 12:00-3:00 pm
Bring the family and spend the afternoon back on campus! Enjoy a relaxed luncheon in Old Main, explore MMI with student led campus tours, visit with classmates and teachers, and revisit the place that helped shape so many lifelong friendships. Whether it’s been five years, fifty years, or longer, we’d love to have you back in Freeland.
The Classes of 1941, 1946, 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, and 1971
Some friendships only get better with time! We are thrilled to welcome back the Classes of 1941, 1946, 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, and 1971 as they celebrate their 80th, 75th, 70th, 65th, 60th, and 55th reunions. As our honored guests, members of these milestone reunion classes are invited to enjoy the Mix & Mingle in Old Main at no cost. Share stories, swap memories, and revisit your favorite campus spots! We cannot wait to welcome you home and celebrate the generations of Preppers whose memories and traditions continue to shape MMI.

The Distinguished Young Alumni Awards Dinner: 6:00 pm, Edgewood Country Club
Join us for an inspiring evening as we recognize the next generation of MMI leaders during our second Distinguished Young Alumni Awards. These awards honor alumni under the age of 30 who are making an impact through professional achievement, leadership, and service to their communities. The 2026 Distinguished Young Alumni Award Winners are Maria N. Carrato ’14, Shaelyn R. Heft ’16, Sydney A. Karpowich ’18, Atty. Victoria A. Kline ’16, Karalyn M. Sitch ’16, and Alyssa M. Sweda ’19. The celebration begins with a cocktail reception from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 7:00 pm. Gather with fellow alumni, family, and friends as we applaud the accomplishments of these exceptional young Preppers and celebrate the bright future they represent.

The Class of 2016 10th Reunion
It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years! The Class of 2016 is invited to celebrate their reunion by joining us for the Distinguished Young Alumni Awards Dinner, where three of your classmates will be honored as members of the 2026 Distinguished Young Alumni class. We’ll reserve special seating so your class can reconnect and celebrate along with cheering on Shaelyn Heft, Tori Kline, and Kara Sitch. After the awards, keep the reunion going by gathering at a favorite local restaurant or pub to continue the celebration. We encourage the Class of 2016 to make the most of a memorable evening together!
