2019 Blair Magnet Fundraising

In 2019, the Magnet Foundation supported many student-run activities at Blair:

• $2,200 to print Silver Quest
• $1,000 for the third annual Blair Hackathon
• $3,200 to run a Middle School Math Tournament
• $1,000 to run an Informatics Tournament
• $500 for a fall Math Night (Mu Alpha Theta)

The Magnet Foundation also purchased equipment for Magnet classes and student clubs:

• $1,000 to support the new Solar Car team
• $1,000 to buy a 3-D printer for the Robotics Team
• $1,700 for new centrifuges, balances, and thermometers
• $14,000 to buy a new IR spectrophotometer
