MARMATHON 2026
What is MARMATHON?
MARMATHON is a student-led fundraiser dedicated to improving the overall Marmion experience. Each year, Marmion’s Student Council puts in a lot of time and effort to plan and prepare for MARMATHON, and this year is no different!
Money raised through MARMATHON allows us to update our campus and bring student-centered and student-designed changes to our school.
MARMATHON is something the entire Marmion community can be a part of, so we encourage every student to get involved, participate, and help make this year’s MARMATHON a success!
When is MARMATHON?
MARMATHON fundraising will take place during a two-week blitz from October 16th to the 30th. The campaign will end with a school-wide celebration day on October 30!
What happens if the school raises $50,000?
If MARMATHON reaches the $50,000 school-wide goal, everyone gets the ultimate prize: NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2026!
That’s right, the entire school gets the day off!
How do I make sure my donation is credited to a specific Cadet?
If you’re a friend, family member, neighbor, or another supporter of a current Marmion student, you can easily make sure your donation counts toward their MARMATHON fundraising total!
When you visit the donation page, search for the student’s name and select them BEFORE making your donation. Once you’ve selected their name, your donation will automatically be credited to that Cadet.
You can also leave a personal message of encouragement with your donation. Your message may be shared on the student’s donation page so they can see who is cheering them on as they work toward their goal!
What if I don’t have a current Marmion student to support?
If you don’t have a current Cadet you’d like to credit with your donation, choose the 2026 MARMATHON Student Council Fund. Your gift will support Student Council and all of our Cadets as they work toward the $50,000 school-wide goal.
Please note: donations to the General Student Council Fund will not be credited to an individual student.
How do I participate as a student?
EVERY CADET has an individual fundraising goal of $200. We encourage every student to reach or exceed that goal!
Can my family make a donation to MARMATHON without donating through my fundraiser?
Yes. However, if you are supporting a specific student, make sure the donation is connected to that student’s fundraiser so their fundraising total and donor count can be properly credited.
Do donors receive anything for giving to MARMATHON?
Yes! Donors will be entered into a drawing for a Marmion Spirit Wear Prize Pack.
Donors receive one entry for every $25 donated.
For example:
- $25 donation = 1 entry
- $50 donation = 2 entries
- $100 donation = 4 entries
What incentives can students earn through MARMATHON?
Every student who participates will have the opportunity to earn awesome prizes based on their fundraising efforts. The more you raise, the more you can earn! Check out the full list of individual prizes, class incentives, and school-wide rewards below.
