For 38 years, Ms. Zimmerman has nurtured thousands of LJCDS students with wisdom, warmth, and unwavering dedication. Her classroom has been a place of curiosity and growth—a reflection of the love she pours into her work each day.
Terri Zimmerman has been teaching at LJCDS since 1987. For the first ten years, she taught junior kindergarten, and kindergarten for the subsequent 28. If you or a family member has been a student of Terri Zimmerman’s, we can guarantee she remembers. She knows the projects you worked on, the growth you made in your year in her class, and often times, where you are today. Ms. Zimmerman takes great pride in being part of your lives, and an even greater joy in teaching generations of families as they return to Country Day.
As she closes this chapter by retiring at the end of the 2025 school year, we invite you to honor her incredible legacy by making a gift in celebration of all the lives she’s touched and the bright futures she’s inspired.
