It is with deep gratitude and tremendous excitement that I share news of a powerful and symbolic addition coming to our campus: La Cascade French for “The Waterfall.”
More than a stunning new feature, La Cascade is a living expression of our Lasallian identity. It is being created as a place of calm, prayer, reflection, and renewal, a sanctuary for students, faculty, staff, and guests. It will stand as a daily reminder of the sacredness of our mission and the ever-flowing grace of God in our community.
As the project nears completion, we are inviting others to be part of this legacy. Your support, whether in honor of a loved one, in celebration of a milestone, or simply as a reflection of your belief in our mission, can help bring this transformational space fully to life.
Originally conceived and generously launched by our Board Emeritus Committee, La Cascade is now an open invitation. Those who feel called to give have the opportunity to:
- Sponsor one of the five pools, each representing a Lasallian Core Principle
- Support the surrounding garden and meditative walkways, designed with trauma-informed elements to bring peace to those carrying stress, grief, or anxiety
- Contribute to the creation of gathering spaces for prayer, learning, and community celebration
- Help us integrate signage and symbols that deepen the spiritual and educational experience of the space
