When is 2027 Reunion Weekend?
This year Reunion events will be hosted June 11-12, 2027.
Who is being celebrated?
Classes ending in 2 and 7 are celebrating the traditional reunion milestones. The Class of 1977 celebrates their 50th reunion.
I graduated in 1977 and am celebrating my 50th reunion. Is there anything special happening on campus for my class?
We invite you to the 50th Reunion Reception on Friday, June 11, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Enjoy a light lunch and reconnect with classmates; spouses and significant others are welcome. The event will also feature remarks from Head of School Ryan Boccuzzi.
Following the reception, members of the Class of 1977 are invited to lead the Class of 2027 in Lakeside’s traditional commencement procession. Participants will gather and robe at 1:30 p.m. in preparation for the 2 p.m. procession. After the procession, Class of 1977 members are welcome to remain for the Commencement program or depart at that time.
What's happening at Lakeside?
There will be campus tours and our annual Reunion Celebration on Saturday, June 12. Campus tours will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the celebration at 6 p.m. and a brief program at 7:30 p.m. You and a guest are invited to join us for a relaxed evening outdoors on the Upper School Quad, with dinner, drinks, class photos, lawn games, and plenty of time to reconnect with classmates and fellow alums. The celebration will take place under the large commencement tent, rain or shine.
What's my class doing?
Your class is invited to celebrate together at the Reunion Celebration on Saturday, June 12! While some classes may choose to organize additional gatherings during the weekend, Lakeside’s Saturday evening celebration is designed to make it easy for classmates to reconnect. We’re taking care of the food, drinks, space, and festivities so you can focus on enjoying time together.
Who do you recommend I reach out to from my class?
We’ve tried to ensure that each reunion class has a class rep to help share event information and build excitement among classmates. If you’re interested in getting involved, please email [email protected].
What does "tented event" mean?
The reunion celebration will occur under the large tent up for Commencement. The tent allows for more space, flexibility, movement, and fresh air.
What should I wear?
The Reunion Reception is a casual outdoor event, and we will celebrate rain or shine. Please check the forecast and dress accordingly. We recommend opting for comfortable layers, shoes suitable for walking on grass, and rain-ready attire if needed.
When will the food be served?
Food and beverages will be available throughout the event. There is no formal, sit-down dinner.
Is there a program?
During the tented reception, there will be a brief welcome from Head of School Ryan Boccuzzi. This brief program will include special recognition of reunion milestone classes and donors and an update from our head of school. The remainder of the event will be unprogrammed, giving alums and their guests the chance to catch up with friends, enjoy great food and drinks, play lawn games, and take class photos.
When will we take class portraits?
Classes will have the chance to have their portrait taken at a designated time.
This is an adults-only reception, but can I bring my baby?
We kindly ask that if you do bring your baby, please ensure they are in your arms and not yet walking. The reunion event is not designed for children.
What will my parking options be?
Carpooling and rideshares are encouraged to minimize cars on campus. The carpool/rideshare drop-off location will be at the Red Square roundabout.
If you drive, here’s what you need to know:
On-campus parking lots will be first-come, first served. Reunion brings an influx of cars to our campus and the surrounding neighborhood. Please note that there is limited street parking in the area.
We expect all members of our community to be considerate of our neighbors. Seattle’s municipal code states that there is no parking within five feet of a driveway, mailbox, or alley.
There is no parking along 1st Avenue NE fronting the Middle School property and NE 140th Street between 1st and 4th avenues, where “no parking” signs appear. The city of Seattle regularly patrols these streets and tickets and tows illegally parked cars.
I can't attend the Reunion Reception this year. Do I have any other options to connect?
