What is the Notewriting Breakfast?
The Notewriting Breakfast is a chance for parents, guardians, and alums to come together to help kick off the current school year’s Lakeside Fund campaign. It’s part work session, part social gathering - think coffee, conversation, and collective impact. Attendees write personal notes to current families and alums, encouraging them to support the school with a gift to the Lakeside Fund. These notes reinforce the spirit of generosity that defines Lakeside and reminds recipients that philanthropy is for everyone.
When is the Notewriting Breakfast?
The Notewriting Breakfast is Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Wright Community Center on the Upper School Campus.
What type of food will be served?
A hot breakfast buffet and assorted beverages.
Will there be food that accommodates dietary restrictions?
If you have any dietary restrictions, please indicate them on your registration form. We will work with our catering company to ensure an assortment of breakfast options are available for everyone to enjoy.
Can I bring my child(ren)?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event and kids are welcome to attend.
Is there a way to see who other attendees are?
Yes! The main page lists everyone who has registered and chosen to make their name public.
Why is the Lakeside Fund important?
The Lakeside Fund is a collective endeavor that fuels our mission. It’s how our entire community comes together each year to invest in the people, programs, and experiences that define Lakeside. Tuition alone does not cover the true cost of educating each student, so every Lakeside Fund gift represents both a contribution of spirit, and a tangible way of making every day extraordinary for our students and teachers.
Can I make a gift before the event?
Yes! There is an option to make a gift when you fill out your registration form. You can also click here to make your gift now. There will also be QR codes placed on tables at the event if you would like to make your gift during the event.
How will my donation appear on my credit card statement?
Gifts made on the Lakeside Fund Day should appear on the donor’s credit card similar to LAKESIDE SCHOOL DONATION HTTPSWWW.LAKESIDE CA. For donors who give via Venmo it will appear as BoostMySchool.
