In memory of Bob Sanford '50Time on the water, elite education, and life-long friends.
After all these years, the voices of Hart Perry and Eric Houston come to me whenever I get tired and start thinking of quitting. For me, KSBC was far more than just rowing.
In honor of In honor of Charlie Kershaw, Garth Griffin, Clint Whisler, and the Boss Man, for helping a bunch of boys become men by proving that if you believe in yourself, and are willing to commit unconditionally to a common goal, anything is possible. What I learned in my time on the water at Kent was, you only achieve success when nine became one, forging a unity that beat as a one synchronous pulse of the boat.
Rowing at Kent was truly a highlight of my time there.
