The Annual Star Fund closes that gap by supporting the dedicated teachers who guide our students and the opportunities that help them grow. About
Launched in 2023, the Annual Star Fund has quickly become one of the most important ways the Kearney Catholic family invests in its students. Combined with the money raised through the G.O.L.D. Dinner and Auction, the Star Fund provides more than $400,000 each year to the school’s operating budget, sustaining our teachers, programs, and faith formation while minimizing tuition increases for our families.
Because Star Fund gifts are unrestricted, they go where the need is greatest each year. A key priority is supporting teacher salaries, so we can retain the excellent educators who make a Kearney Catholic education special, while also providing the programs and opportunities that help every student grow. Last year, 200 donors made the Star Fund possible, a 32% increase over the year before. This year, our goal is to reach 225 donors, because every gift, at every level, shows our students that their community stands behind them.
