Is there a cost to attend?
There is no cost to attend either event. We are excited to celebrate with you as part of HB’s 150th anniversary!
What is the event attire?
Please be advised that The Army and Navy Club has a dress code when visiting for events. For the full dress code policy, please click here.
Attire in the Clubhouse
Business attire (jackets, dress trousers, collared shirt (tucked-in) or turtleneck for gentlemen and comparable attire for ladies) is the minimum expected at all times throughout the Clubhouse except as listed below.
Neckties are required in the Main Dining Room for Dinner and Evening Buffet.
Business Casual attire appropriate for the season, (for example, casual dress trousers; appropriate sweaters; collared shirts for gentlemen and comparable attire for ladies) is permitted in the Eagle Grill as well as the lobby during the brief period it takes an individual to register for or check out from an overnight room in the Clubhouse and while proceeding to or from one’s room.
Prohibited Attire
Athleticwear unless traveling directly to or from the athletic facilities or hotel room.
Jeans and denim apparel of any kind.
Shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, men’s sleeveless shirts, shirts without a collar, or cargo pants.
Men’s shoes worn without crew-length socks.
Frayed, soiled, or torn clothing.
Clothing that exposes undergarments, bare midriffs or is excessively revealing.
Clothing and personal effects with offensive, derogatory, or profane language or images.
Gentlemen are not allowed to wear hats, caps, or head coverings unless required for religious purposes.
The Club will provide reasonable accommodation to non-conforming attire for medical reasons (e.g. tennis shoes for foot surgery)
The Club reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the appropriateness of attire.
I have special dietary restrictions or allergies. What should I do?
We are happy to assist in any way that we can! Please note dietary restrictions or allergies directly in your registration or contact the Office of Alumnae Engagement at 216.320.8775 or [email protected].
Where should I plan to park?
There are a limited number of valet and spaces in the driveway, so members and guests arriving when there is a significant backlog are encouraged to find own parking at the nearby garages.
Please note: Valets are instructed not to park vehicles exceeding a height of 6 feet 5 inches due to height restrictions in the neighboring garage used by the Club. Those vehicles must be self-parked.
What if I need to update my RSVP?
No problem at all! Just send us an email at [email protected] or 216.320.8775, and we will make any necessary changes for you.
