Community is everything at GSB!

Our son, Andrés González, received a great education at GSB. Additionally, he was a member of the soccer team, coached by Tony Bednarsky, who was great to him. Andrés has since graduated from Colgate University, Class of 2021, with high honors and is now working at Barclays in NYC. We can attribute his success, in part, because he attended GSB. We’ll always be thankful to the school!

It has been an honor and a pleasure to work with such a wonderful group of people for 37 years. Go Knights!

The world is our classroom, and my education at Gill showed me a world that could exist. That motivated me to stay on my career path on computer science and focus on it even harder. Being a PhD candidate in computer science specializing in systems is not just about computers, it’s about systemic equity and having digital infrastructure serve everyone, and I don’t think I would have been thinking about this for so long if I hadn’t been introduced to how tech can shape the world around us at Gill. I want to see more students (perhaps maybe more young women? ) have more opportunities to get into STEM at Gill and use Gill’s wonderful liberal arts education to give them some extra tools in that regard.

I met friends who became family

I found ever lasting friendship and my passion!

Our family is lucky to be part of the GSB community in many ways: as student, faculty, and parent volunteer. Thank you GSB!
