Why is June 30th your deadline?
The Governor’s Academy’s fiscal year runs parallel to the school year. Therefore, the fundraising calendar begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 every year. You can make your gift anytime during the year, but making your contribution in the fall will be the most beneficial to the financial planning of the Academy.
Why is $1,763 a suggestion donation amount?
The 1763 Society recognizes leadership donors who give $1,763 or more within a fiscal year. Approximately 85% of the total raised for The Governor’s Fund comes from leadership donors, providing critical revenue for the school to further its mission. We are grateful for your consideration in making a leadership gift, and to our existing leadership donors who are the foundation of the Academy’s philanthropic efforts.
What is the Senior Family Gift Campaign?
The Senior Family Gift Campaign is a new initiative that brings together families of graduating seniors to collectively support an important Academy priority. This year, the Class of 2027 will focus on faculty support, a key priority of Force of Nurture our strategic plan.
