What is the GSA Annual Fund?
The GSA Annual Fund supplies our school with vital resources to sustain its day-to-day operations. Some of these expenses include: faculty and staff salaries, supplies, utilities, insurance, staff benefits, transportation, extracurricular and enrichment activities, and programs like ISIP and ArtsFest.
The GSA Fund is the school’s most important annual fundraising initiative. Every year, every dollar of our Annual Fund goes to support and improve the experience of every student. The 2024-2025 GSA Annual Fund goal is $375,000.
Why does GSA need an Annual Fund?
The GSA Annual Fund helps close the gap between public/local tuition revenue and the real expenses it requires to run your community’s school.
Why should I give to the Annual Fund?
Gifts to the GSA Annual Fund provide the resources that the school community relies upon to support all aspects of the school. Supporting GSA through the Annual Fund ensures that students and faculty can depend on these resources now and into the future. Gifts affect the student experience in real time and the impact is felt in classrooms, by sports teams, through art and music programming, and in special endeavors undertaken by our students.
What is the best way that I can help with a gift?
The absolute best way to help GSA with a gift is by giving to the Annual Fund first and every year. The Annual Fund has the greatest impact on all aspects of school operations and resources.
How can I increase my impact?
Workplace Matching Gifts: A corporate match may double your gift amount. Reach out to your employer’s HR department to learn more.
Recurring Gifts: A recurring, monthly gift is a wonderful way to support GSA throughout the year. Due to processing fees, we ask that monthly gifts (and other digital payments) be a minimum of $5.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, George Stevens Academy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and your donation is tax-deductible. You will receive an email donation receipt as well as an acknowledgement letter which you can use as your official record for your taxes.
How can I make a gift?
