About
The Tartan Takeover Challenge is our weeklong celebration of community, generosity, and Highlander pride! This is a chance for our community to come together, make a difference, and show our support for Gunn’s students, teachers, coaches, and staff with a gift or pledge. Our goal is to reach over 500 donors during this week. Through the generosity of our Board of Trustees, every dollar donated up to $100,000 will be matched. Keep an eye out for other mini-challenges throughout the week. All Highlander Faithful are called to celebrate the Gunn spirit the week of April 6-11 in honor of National Tartan Day!
All throughout this week, “Toast the Tartan” events will be happening across the globe to showcase our Highlander pride, culminating in Gunn’s participation in the 2026 NYC Tartan Day Parade on April 11. Please join our alumni, families, friends, faculty, staff, and students in this incredible opportunity for Gunn by making your gift, joining an event, and sharing your love for Gunn during this spirit week.
Go Gunn!
