Grandparents Shape Legacy

And the Future Their Grandchildren Will One Day Lead

Q:

Can you add or update my name and address to receive grandparent communications?

A:

For those grandparents who wish to receive regular FCS updates, we encourage you to ask your family to include you in the family demographic section of their Parent Portal so you can receive our custom email and grandparent specific communications. Parents of students need to add grandparent contact information directly by logging into the FCS internal Parent Portal > Family > Family Home > Family Demographic Form.

Q:

In conversation with my Financial Advisor, I need Tax-ID and other information to transfer stocks and securities or follow up with Required Minimum Distribution - who do I contact for those details?

A:

You may know exactly what you need, or you may still be unsure of the right questions to ask. While we always encourage you to seek guidance from your own financial advisor, we are more than happy to provide our Tax ID, account details, or any other information you may need—or simply begin a conversation about the possibilities. Reach out to our Director of Development, Amanda Priefer: [email protected]

Q:

My interest is in building renovations, can I be a part of those campus improvement conversations?

A:

Amanda Priefer, Director of Development, is on the pulse of current needs, future growth, and the areas being actively discussed for building campaigns and expansion. She is dedicated to meaningful conversations with grandparents, alumni, corporate partners, and current FCS families who wish to explore long term impact or direct their support toward areas of personal passion and interest. If you would like to set up a time to meet in person over a cup of coffee, tour the school, or connect by phone to learn more—please reach out directly to Amanda at [email protected] or call and leave a message for Amanda with the receptionist at our Franklin Classical number: 615-528-3777.

Q:

I have a question about volunteering and giving opportunities at FCS, who do I contact?

A:

Please take a moment to explore the “Register” option for volunteering on campus—you’ll find a comments section where you can share your specific areas of interest. You’ll also see a “Legacy Partner” giving option for the FCS Fund if you’d like to support the school financially. After you’ve looked through these opportunities we’ve created for your convenience, feel free to reach out to Amanda Priefer with any additional questions or comments: [email protected]

Legacy Partner: FCS Fund

Any gift makes a tremendous impact. The FCS Fund, often referred to as our ‘Annual Fund’ provides the steady, reliable support that allows us to plan building renovations, strengthen athletic and academic programs, and invest in the teachers who shape our school.

Volunteer On-Campus

Whether it’s baking for teachers, offering carpentry or handyman help, or sharing life‑skills expertise, there are always meaningful ways to serve on campus. If you’re open to helping where the greatest needs are, we can easily plug you in—there are always fundraisers, auctions, and events where your support and organizational gifts make a real difference. Let us know your interests in the comments section, and we’ll follow up with opportunities to get involved.
