An Evening of Song and Community with Steven Curtis Chapman

Benefiting the Next Generation of Leaders at Franklin Classical School

Q:

What is the dress attire for this event? Is dining located indoor or outdoor?

A:

The event is not formal black‑tie, but a polished, elevated look is perfect. The Goldrush Ballroom is an indoor venue within Southall’s Event Center. Parking is conveniently positioned in clear view of the cabin, ensuring a seamless arrival. You are welcome to enjoy the grounds as early as 5pm on the date of the event; with hors d’oeuvres and mingling on the patio beginning at 5:15.

Q:

What will the menu be for the evening? And what do you mean served 'family-style'?

A:

Southall Farm & Inn is known for its Michelin‑caliber culinary program, where the chefs craft each dish from ingredients grown and raised right on the farm. Dinner will be served in an elevated family‑style presentation, allowing every guest at the table to enjoy each thoughtfully prepared dish. Rather than choosing just one entrée, guests are invited to share beautifully plated courses—an abundant, communal experience that showcases the full expression of Southall’s award‑winning cuisine. Your meal includes up to two glasses of wine, and the wait staff will be delighted to recommend selections that pair beautifully with dinner.

Q:

What is the schedule for the evening?

A:

Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 5:00 p.m. to enjoy the beautiful grounds, with hors d’oeuvres and mingling on the patio beginning at 5:15. Dinner will be served promptly at 6:00 p.m., followed by a special performance from Steven Curtis Chapman. The evening is expected to conclude around 8:30 p.m.

Q:

Will this be an adults‑only evening, or are children welcome to attend as well?

A:

It’s an adults‑only evening…but every moment of it benefits the kids.

Q:

What beverage options are available throughout the evening?

A:

Each registration includes access to our complimentary wine bar, where guests will receive two wine tickets to enjoy at their leisure. It’s entirely up to you how you’d like to pace them throughout the evening—many guests begin with their first glass during hors d’oeuvres at 5:15 p.m., and then enjoy their second glass alongside dinner.

If you would prefer additional wine, beer, or other beverages, the Southall bar team will be glad to accommodate. Any expanded selections can be purchased individually and added to your personal check.

Q:

Can you accommodate my dietary needs?

A:

Chef has asked that all dietary needs be provided 10 days prior to the event, so we have included a section of the registration to collect those details. If you did not indicate dietary needs in the registration process but wish to do so now, email Amanda Priefer @ [email protected].

Q:

I would like to register as a Table Sponsor but am still finalizing the guest list. Can I still register?

A:

It is completely fine if you are still finalizing your guest list. Simply continue with the registration process as prompted, then email Amanda atleast 10 days prior to the event to confirm those names, contact information, and any dietary restrictions. Providing this information ensures your guests can be admitted onto the property—individual names must be given to the attendant at the front gate. Likewise, if any donors accompanying you at your table—or anyone you registered on their behalf—personally contributed to the event and would like to receive an end‑of‑year tax receipt, we must have their individual names, email addresses, and mailing addresses on file.

Q:

Does this online process allow for payment by check?

A:

All registrations - whether paid by check, donor advised funds, stocks or securities or through credit card - go through this webpage for processing. You will still complete your registration here and simply select “Pledge” at the payment step; instructions will be provided. When writing a check, please include “Table Sponsor- SCC Event” or “Scholars Bundle - SCC Event” in the memo line. If you notify our Director of Development, Amanda Priefer, that your payment is on the way or will be dropped off to campus, she will be glad to watch for it. Her email is [email protected].

Q:

Is this event priced like this because of the food and music, or is it supporting a mission?

A:

We promise you this: Steven Curtis Chapman will be extraordinary, and the dinner at Southall will be unforgettable. But the heart of this evening isn’t about having the best peppered steak of your life—though there’s a good chance you will.

The price reflects something far more meaningful.

Each $3,000 registration funds the average scholarship for one student in financial need, opening the door for a child to receive a Christ‑centered classical education. Both the donor and the student remain anonymous. The event itself is a capstone celebration of what has already been accomplished: our community coming together to make these scholarships possible for the upcoming academic year.

So yes, the music will be beautiful and the meal exceptional—but the true joy of the night is knowing that your seat at the table becomes a seat in a classroom for a student who needs it most.

Teacher Honor Seats

Each year, our teachers and assistant teachers pour themselves into the lives of our students with extraordinary love, skill, and faithfulness. In response, we are opening a number of $1,500 Teacher Honor Seats for those who wish to bless a faculty member with an unforgettable evening at Southall. Let these become the most generously sponsored seats of the night. What a beautiful way to bless a teacher or assistant teacher at the end of the year or simply express your gratitude for their impact.

Parents and donors may coordinate to pool funds together and make one total $1,500 donation to sponsor a specific teacher, or they may give individual custom amounts here that collectively reach the full $1500 value. Donors can direct their giving to the teacher of their choice. We will notify the donors when that teacher’s seat has been fully sponsored. Once you input your donation amount, prompts will take you to a section where you indicate which specific teacher your donation is sponsoring. If those teachers have already received a fully sponsored seat, our leadership team will joyfully select another worthy teacher recipient on your behalf.

General Scholarship Fund Donation (No Tickets Purchased - Donation Only)

Thank you for your donation to the scholarship fund! These funds will be directly used to support scholarships for the 26/27 academic school year.

Please note: this is not the correct place to give if you wish to sponsor a teacher’s seat. Instead, please select the giving option titled ‘Teacher Honor Seat.’

Single Seat Option

$1,500

There are a limited number of single‑seat reservations at $1,500. These individual seats, placed at beautifully set shared tables, allow guests to enjoy an unforgettable evening of exceptional food and warm fellowship while celebrating the music and ministry of renowned artist Steven Curtis Chapman.

Please note: while a single seat represents a significant contribution to the scholarship fund and is a tremendous blessing to scholarship families, a pair of seats still represents a full $3,000 scholarship, and only the $3,000 Scholars Bundle includes the opportunity to name a scholarship.

Limited quantity (10 left of 10)

Scholars Bundle (Seating For Two, Shared Table)

$3,000

The Scholars Bundle (seating for two adults) will be placed at shared tables that seat a total of ten guests. The Scholars Bundle is intentionally designed because every pair of seats funds the average $3,000 scholarship awarded at Franklin Classical School. Each Scholars Bundle directly makes one of these awards possible.

Our staff will thoughtfully select the student recipients of all scholarships, and both the donor and the student will remain anonymous. As part of this meaningful opportunity, each Scholars Bundle duo will have the privilege of naming their scholarship—for example, The C.S. Lewis Scholarship for Truth—and writing a brief prayer or word of encouragement. Our team will ensure that the student receives this blessing as they enter the 2026–2027 academic year.

Please note that Scholars Bundles are seated together as a pair at shared tables. While we will ensure the two of you are placed side‑by‑side, all other seating preferences cannot be guaranteed. The meal will be served family style, with beautifully plated dishes set out for the table—fostering a warm, communal setting where guests can savor each course and build new connections.

Limited quantity (Only 8 left of 15)

Front Row Scholars Bundle (Seating for Two, Shared Table)

$6,000

Our Front Row Scholars Bundle offers premier seating for two just steps from the stage, where you and your guest will be seated side by side and placed with other attendees at a beautifully set table of ten for a shared, family‑style meal. Because each seat represents the $3,000 average scholarship award, each of you will have the opportunity to name a scholarship and write a prayer or word of blessing that will be anonymously shared with the student who receives it. With seats positioned closest to Steven Curtis Chapman—one of the most celebrated artists in Christian music—you’ll experience an unforgettable evening while directly impacting a child’s life through Christ‑centered education. You’ll be part of a table of ten, enjoying the evening together, sharing a communal meal, and making new friends along the way.

Limited quantity (Only 2 left of 5)

Limited Time: Premium Table Sponsor, Front Row (Seating for Ten Adults)

$30,000

For a limited time, we are reserving this option for a full table sponsorship (seating for 10) on the front row before opening this table to individual seats to the broader community.

There is purpose behind every chair: the $30,000 represented here reflects ten students receiving the average scholarship at Franklin Classical School. Premium Table sponsors also have the privilege of naming ten individual scholarships—such as “The C.S. Lewis Scholarship for Courage” or “In memory of…”—and anonymously writing a prayer or words of encouragement for each student recipient for the 2026–2027 academic year. Every seat at this distinguished table symbolizes a child whose access to a Christ‑centered education is being made possible.

Your table will receive exceptional placement near the stage, along with the option of Title Sponsor recognition through our event marketing and Franklin Classical School’s social media platforms, should you wish to be acknowledged. From this beautifully positioned setting, you and your guests will enjoy the best view of an intimate performance by Steven Curtis Chapman, accompanied by a family‑style meal with beautifully plated dishes to share.

Limited quantity (Only 1 left of 1)

Limited Time: Table Sponsor, 2nd Row (Seating for Ten Adults)

$20,000

We are offering full table sponsorships (seating for 10) in the second row of seating near the stage before releasing individual seats to the broader community.

Becoming a Table Sponsor (seating for ten) offers a meaningful opportunity to support Franklin Classical School while hosting the ten adult guests of your choosing for an unforgettable evening. Your table for ten will be beautifully reserved exclusively for your group and placed just behind the front row of tables near the stage—an ideal vantage point for experiencing an intimate performance by celebrated Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman. Your $20,000 sponsorship represents a little more than six full scholarships and together, your table has the privilege of naming these scholarships and writing a prayer or blessing over the students who will anonymously receive them for the 2026–2027 academic year. The meal will be enjoyed family style, with beautifully plated dishes for the table to share.

Limited quantity (Only 1 left of 2)
