Every Participating Class Can Win!

Three Other Ways to Give
- Cash or Check
• The simplest and most common way to give. Mail checks to, Attn: Finance Office, Franklin Classical School, 1021 Windcross Ct, Franklin, TN 37067. Include the Memo: FCS Fund (and the grade of the student for class prize).
- IRA Charitable Giving (RMDs)
• If you are required to take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your IRA, you can direct any portion of it to FCS through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
• This allows funds to flow directly from your IRA custodian to FCS, with no taxes owed. The check must be issued directly from your IRA institution to FCS (not to your personal account).
- Gifting Appreciated Stock
• Donors can transfer highly appreciated stock positions directly to FCS.
• This avoids capital gains taxes for the donor, while allowing FCS to sell the stock tax-free. A powerful way to maximize your impact while minimizing tax liability.
If a donation is ‘on its way’ please email Amanda so she can credit it to the class prizes before December 31st: [email protected]
Questions or Comments related to the new library?
The images scrolling across the top of the homepage were inspired by conversations with our architect and reflect the caliber of library space we hope to build at Franklin Classical.
Please contact our Director of Development, Amanda Priefer, at [email protected] with any questions regarding charitable giving or opportunities to support Franklin Classical School.
For those interested in learning more about our future library and third-floor expansion, Amanda welcomes the opportunity to walk through the space, share the latest architectural schematic plans, and discuss the vision taking shape. Together, we can help bring this exciting project to life.
We are also actively seeking construction and trade partners. Contributions of expertise, materials, craftsmanship, or services, including millwork and specialty construction support, can create significant savings and help accelerate progress toward our goal. We believe Franklin Classical’s future will be built from the bottom up, with families actively helping shape the places their children, grandchildren, and future generations will enjoy. You do not need to be a professional designer or builder to participate. If you have a passion for great spaces, creative ideas, practical skills, or simply a desire to help dream alongside us, we invite you to join the conversation. Together, we can create a lasting legacy for the students who will call Franklin Classical home for generations to come.
How will the funds for great books be dispersed?
In partnership with our teachers and administrators, we have launched a new Book Worm Team dedicated to identifying literature needs across every grade level. From adding books to our Grammar School library carts, to classroom favorites teachers want readily available, to essential textbooks and timeless works such as Charlotte’s Web and The Chronicles of Narnia, this team will help ensure our students have access to the books that cultivate both a love of learning and a lifelong love of reading.
