Following the State of the School address, The Ethel Walker School Parents Association (EWSPA) will be hosting a dessert reception in the Common Room of Beaver Brook at 2:15 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon treat, connect with other families, and learn how you can become involved in the EWSPA. Note: You do not need to register your student.

We will gather in the Living Room in Beaver Brook at 2:45 p.m. to hear from Director of Athletics Brett Benzio along with University of Saint Joseph Head Field Hockey Coach Karen Nell, and Trinity Head Softball Coach and Alumna Lena Springer ‘13 discuss the current college athletic recruitment process.

Join School Archivist Kim Harris Thacker P’24, ‘27, on a fun and interesting outdoor walking tour to learn more about the history of The Ethel Walker School. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be sure to dress for the weather! We will meet in the lobby of Beaver Brook and will leave together at 7:30 a.m.

It’s never too early to learn about the college admissions process, and Walker’s is here to make it easier for both parents and students! Join us at 9:00 a.m. in the Living Room for an insightful session with Clarissa Basch, Director of College Counseling with over 37 years of college admissions experience, and Andrew Strickler, Dean of Admission and Financial Aid at Connecticut College. They’ll share valuable insights on navigating the planning and admissions process, including current trends and key takeaways from the 2024 admissions cycle. Don’t miss this opportunity to gain expert advice and stay ahead in the college admissions journey!
