What is the Fieldston Alumni Challenge?
The Fieldston Alumni Challenge is a fun 36-hour challenge put forth by the Fieldston Alumni Relations department and Gus Ornstein ‘94 (Director of Athletics at ECFS). For every donor who makes a gift, Gus will do a push up. Additionally, if we reach 250 donors, a group of anonymous Alumni donors will gift an additional $25,000 to the Orange Fund.
What is the Orange Fund
Orange Fund is the ECFS annual fundraising initiative. ECFS relies on charitable contributions from parents, alumni, grandparents, parents of graduates, faculty/staff and friends to underwrite the comprehensive costs, bridging the gap between tuition and the actual cost to educate each student. Why should I make gift during the Alumni Challenge?
While your donation is appreciated at any time of year, this is a fun challenge that will have a significant impact by helping ECFS secure additional generous funding. Join the whole Alumni community on this challenge. Thank you for being a partner for our students and our School.
I already made an Orange Fund gift -- can I make a second gift today?
Yes! To help ECFS unlock a gift of $25,000 and to challenge Gus to do more push ups, you can make you gift today. Your additional donation will count toward our goal of 250 donors for the Alumni Challenge.
How much should I give?
Gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated by the ECFS community. In the past, we have received gifts ranging from $5 to $100,000 but it’s the collective support from our community that makes the biggest impact.
I don't want to give by credit card -- are there other ways to make my gift?
