Is transportation provided?
Yes! ELCA will provide transportation. Buses will leave ELCA’s athletic field parking lot promptly at 8:45 AM on Saturday, January 24th.
Can we drive to the event?
Yes, if you would prefer to drive and pay for parking, in the RED DECK, you may do so. You must indicate this in your registration.
What should we wear?
Dress is casual and comfortable. Please wear or bring a light jacket or pullover for any outdoor activities.
Will we be eating?
Yes! Snacks and lunch will be provided for the event. Lunch will consist of burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, chips and an assortment of drinks. Please indicate in the registration if you have any allergies.
Can I bring my own lunch?
No, outside food and drink are not allowed.
What will the program consist of for the day?
8:30 AM - Arrive/Check-In @ ELCA
8:45 AM - Depart ELCA - Buses will leave promptly at 8:45 AM
10:00 AM - Arrival at Truist Park
10:00 - 10:15 AM - Fellowship & Light Snacks
10:15 - 10:45 AM - Prayer / Opening Session (The Why?)
10:45 AM - 12:15 PM - Breakout Activities /Team Building / Truist Park Tour
12:15 - 1:15 PM - Lunch / Panel Pop-Up
1:15 - 1:30 PM - Closing Session / Q&A
1:30 PM - Departure
2:30 PM - Arrive at ELCA
Who may attend this event?
This event is for 5th-12th grade young men of ELCA and their respective adult role model. Each young man of ELCA MUST be accompanied by a positive adult male role model. All adult males will participate with their respective young men in certain activities and will be there to build up and encourage our young men to become the men that God wants them to be. Adult role models may consist of fathers, uncles, cousins, mentors, etc.
Please register only 1 adult and 1 student under each registration. If you have multiple sons/students who like to attend please register them separately, and include another adult male that will accompany them.
What does it mean that space is limited?
We would like to ensure a good mix of young men and adult role models. To facilitate this we have limited the number of adults to 100 and their respective students are limited by grade levels as follows:
10th, 11th, & 12th Grade - 12 Students Each
8th & 9th Grade - 14 Students
5th, 6th, & 7th Grade - 12 Students Each
What should I bring with me?
Please bring the following:
A positive attitude!
Light coat, sweater or pullover
ID’s - All adults
What things can I NOT bring with me?
Please DO NOT bring the following:
A negative attitude!
Bookbags
Large cameras (cell phones are ok)
Guns or weapons
Food or drink
